Before I joined LA fitness Milngavie I had fallen out of shape, I was very skinny and unfit. I was struggling to play a whole game of football so I wanted to get fitter and stronger to enable me to do this. I started eating more high protein meals and joined LA fitness in 2007.
At first I found it difficult, it's hard to get into a routine especially when you need to work throughout the day during the week. The 'health MOT ' that LA fitness offer gave me something to aim for. Members of staff were friendly and quick to offer advice.
I started to see results of my training roughly four weeks after I joined LA fitness Milngavie. After working towards my goals I felt great, like I was really achieving something worthwhile.
I have now become a lot fitter and wouldn't class myself as skinny anymore after I have put on some good muscle mass. This has made me feel awesome, more confident and overall happier.
Advice I would give to others working towards their goals would be to break your goals down into smaller short term targets that can be realistically achieved.
