As I approached middle age I started to put more weight on and started to lose the muscle tone that I had previously had.

I decided that I wanted to regain my fitness so researched healthier lifestyles on the internet. I joined LA fitness and combined it with better nutrition.

At first I found it hard to stick to the eating plans and sometimes struggled to get to the gym as much as I wanted due to other commitments but the key for me was to start having Personal Trainer sessions to give me the extra push I needed. I also started to attend the exercise classes.

I started to notice a difference after 4 weeks. I have now lost 10lbs and improved my stamina and body fat. I feel younger and more energetic and feel proud of what I have achieved.

My advice is to break your goals down into small chunks and reward yourself when you reach each goal.
