I have been a member of LA fitness Liverpool for over 2 years. At 41, I never expected to be as fit and healthy as I am now. From a very early age I was told I shouldn't swim or run because of my Asthma, I carried my inhaler everywhere in school. I did learn to swim but I was never that confident and didn't like taking part in sport. I was always slim until I was in my 30's and started to become a bit over weight. I have joined 3 other gyms before but nobody there motivated me so I lost all interest after a few months.
 
I love LA fitness Liverpool because all of the staff have been friendly and supportive and have encouraged me to achieve my fitness goals. I had a free NHS health check yesterday and discovered that while I have been at LA fitness I have lost almost 2 stone in weight and gone down to a size 10-12.

I follow a healthy diet but allow food treats, I never drink or smoke. I have low cholesterol, a healthy BMI and I have reduced my risk of developing a heart attack or stroke in the next 10 years down to just 2.2%.
 
I swim before work in the mornings then attend in the evening for my favourite classes and use the gym for weight training. I also train outside and I’m starting running, I aim to push my fitness levels to run faster and longer. I would recommend LA fitness Liverpool to anyone.
