Frequently asked questions about our Liverpool gyms

  • Most of our gyms in Liverpool have free parking, however Liverpool Central does not offer free parking. Check the individual gym homepages to get more information on parking and public transport links. PureGym is not responsible for any parking fines.

  • All the gyms in Liverpool are open 24 hours a day.

  • PureGym memberships are contract-free, so you can join without committing to staying for longer periods. We also do 1, 3, 7, and 30 day passes if you’d rather try the gym for a shorter period before joining.

  • All the gyms in Liverpool run group fitness classes throughout the week, which are included in your membership. Class timetables vary between each gym. To see what classes are on, visit the individual gym pages or download the free PureGym app.

  • All the gyms in Liverpool have a friendly team of Personal Trainers available to hire. PTs can help you to achieve your fitness goals in several ways including 121 training sessions and bespoke fitness programmes. Check out the gym homepages or visit the PT hub within the gym to find a Personal Trainer. Personal Training is not included in your PureGym membership.

  • All the gyms in Liverpool have male and female changing areas with individual showers, free lockers, hairdryers, and spare plug sockets, as well as toilets. You’ll need to bring your own padlock for the lockers. Changing rooms are closed between 12-3am but there are toilets and lockers on the gym floor.

  • None of our gyms in Liverpool currently have a ladies’ only section.

  • Members need to be at least 16 years old to sign up for a PureGym membership.

  • Members need to be at least 16 years old to sign up for a PureGym membership.

  • All the gyms in Liverpool have free 02 WiFi. Simply select the 02 WiFi and follow the instructions in the browser to log in.

  • We do not have facilities like swimming pools or spas in any of our gyms. This helps us to keep the cost of our memberships down so that more people can afford to join the gym.

Our Liverpool Central gym is just 0.6 miles from The University of Liverpool and 0.3 miles from Liverpool John Moores University, and PureGym Liverpool Brunswick is around 1.5 miles from both universities. Best Gyms For Classes

Fitness classes are included in your PureGym membership, which means all of our gyms are great for classes! PureGym Wirral Bidston Moss, PureGym Liverpool Brunswick and PureGym Aintree have slightly more classes running through the week to choose from, which may make them more suitable. However, we'd recommend checking the gym pages or the PureGym app to see which timetable you prefer.

Best Gyms For Beginners

Everybody is welcome at PureGym, no matter what level they're at! Beginners may prefer to try some of our inductions and learn to lift workshops as these help to build skills and confidence in the gym. These are available at all of Liverpool gyms but our Kirkby and Liverpool Central gyms have more on throughout the week.
