Parent and child swimming lessons


With parent and child in the pool these classes are suitable for children aged 6 months to 3 years dependent on their confidence. Develop your child’s water confidence through fun and games, nursery rhymes, toys and group participation designed to encourage confidence in the pool.

Childrens pre-school swimming lessons


Aimed at children 3 years plus, these classes are designed to be your child’s first structured lesson environment without a parent present in the pool. This class works towards a badge and certificate and is a good introduction before your child goes on to complete their ASA swimming levels 1-7.

Children’s swimming lessons: Stage 1


Develops basic safety awareness, basic movement skills and water confidence skills. Swimmers may use aids, such as arm bands and floats.

Children’s swimming lessons: Stage 2


Focuses on developing safe entries to the water, including jumping in, basic floating, travel on the front and back up to a distance of five metres, plus rotating the body to regain an upright position. Swimmers may use aids such as arm bands and floats.

Children’s swimming lessons: Stage 3


Develops safe entry into the water - including submersion - travel up to 10 metres on the front and back, and progressing water safety knowledge and body rotation skills from the previous level. Level 3 also sees the swimmer being assessed without the use of aids or support.

Children’s swimming lessons: Stage 4


Develops the understanding of buoyancy through a range of skills and refines kicking techniques for all strokes. The swimmer also has to swim 10 metres to a standard directed by the ASA.

Children’s swimming lessons: Stage 5


Develops ‘watermanship’ through sculling and treading water skills and body complete rotation. The swimmer has to perform all strokes for a distance of 10 metres to a standard provided by the ASA.

Children’s swimming lessons: Stage 6


Develops effective swimming skills - including coordinated breathing - across all strokes. The swimmer has to swim a distance of 25 metres using a stroke of choice. This level also teaches aspects of water safety and about preparing properly for exercise.

Children’s swimming lessons: Stage 7


Develop quality stroke techniques up to 100 metres incorporating the skills learned, and combine them to develop a linked routine. The swimmer must successfully complete an obstacle course that combines a variety of skills accomplished through stages 1-7.

Children & adult private 1-2-1 lessons


Children & adult private 1-2-1 lessons Available for both children and adults, whether you want to learn to swim or improve your stroke the 30 minute sessions deliver highly concentrated and effective personal swimming lessons tailored to meet your individual needs.

Swim Fit


Aimed at triathletes and competent adults who wish to improve their stroke, fitness and weight loss in small class sizes. Run in a similar way to a personal training session, your individual workout with be tailored to your individual goals.

Aqua Fit


Aerobic exercise in the water focuses on stamina, strength and suppleness. It’s also great for reducing stress levels!

Aqua Circuit


For those who prefer a more targeted workout, aqua circuits are the aquatic equivalent to circuits in the gym. Participants move between stations using weights and specialised floats to tone specific muscle groups. Workouts often include an aerobic element too.
